Swearing In of the City Council for Wards #1 & #2
City Attorney Carter issues the oath to Councilwoman Stephens and Councilman Godwin at the swearing in ceremony.
Mr. Ken Godwin and Ms. Martha "Mert" Stephens were sworn in at the City of Blountstown's January 13, 2026 City Council meeting.
Mr. Ken Godwin is the newly elected City Councilman for Ward #1 and Ms. Martha "Mert" Stephens is returning to her seat for Ward #2. They will serve a 2 year term (2026 - 2027).
