Community Development Block Grants

Community Development Block Grants provide funding through the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to principally benefit low-to-moderate income households and communities.

The Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program provides funding to support long-term disaster recovery efforts, focusing on housing, infrastructure, economic development, and mitigation in areas impacted by Presidentially declared disasters.

The Community Development Block Grant - Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) Program provides funding for disaster mitigation projects and increased resiliency in areas impacted by Presidentially declared disasters, aiming to reduce or eliminate future disaster risks, injuries, damages, losses, suffering and hardships.
