Greenway Trail

Blountstown's Greenway Trail, which is part of the Florida Trails System, is 3.325 miles of naturally landscaped trail extending from Sam Atkins Park to the Apalachicola River.  There are trail heads at various points along the trail with the most popular trail head located at the M & B Train Depot Park.  

People from all over as well as locals come to take advantage of our trail because of the beautiful, shady and scenic route it provides.  A portion of the trail is a USATF Certified 3.1 mile course, which hosts countless 5K's every year.  Whether you are just wanting to take a leisurely stroll, get in an afternoon run, or bike ride with your family, Blountstown's Greenway Trail can accommodate your needs.
