Fair Housing
The City of Blountstown is dedicated to fair housing principles. Fair Housing is a concept that everyone has the right to obtain without discrimination. The City of Blountstown officially adopted a Fair Housing Ordinance which prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, handicap and familial status. This ordinance covers most housing related activities such as real estate, advertising, bank transactions, mortgages, rentals and any similar activity which may deal with persons seeking housing.
Anyone with questions or concerns about the Fair Housing Ordinance or anyone who feels they have been discriminated against is urged to contact Traci Hall at City Hall, located at 20591 Central Avenue West, Blountstown, Florida 32424 or by calling 850-674-5488.
